Amber

Marmareon (Gale) with some amber stones. I've been reading the Prehistory of Denmark and the amber trade really interests me.

I've been having an internal battle of how light or dark to make Gale's skin. I thought I had made up my mind, but it seems I haven't! This could carry on for months since I don't draw him all that often. I'll just have to see what happens.

This portrait gives me the impression he had a dark ancestor, and it would really show next to someone with lighter skin like Jacky. His recent ancestors are (ancient)Greek and a small percentage Gaul.
