Pano and Cetus by GreekCeltic Pano and Cetus by GreekCeltic

I thought adding a Nereid and Cetus to Gale’s childhood could be fun. Not sure if I’m going through with it yet.

I nicknamed the girl Pano after Panopeia. I’ve only researched Nereids a little bit, I’m kinda wore out on extensive research.

I really like the use you make of mythology, and how you represent it ^^ (I love all your concept work actually...!)
And Pano's features are really nice too!

...I have a character named Cetus, because I thought it meant 'shark' in Latin. I don't know what kind of research I did at that time, I will probably have to change it (damn it!)... >.<

Haha oh no!

I think the word Cetus is a catch-all term for sea monsters. It seems to represent a VARIETY of critters. I think sharks are included!

or is it a water bull? I have read folklore about both.

Either works! XD I drew it as a bull, but I thought it looked a bit horsey too. I think the snout is too long.
